Josephine O'Callaghan

Extended Scope Physiotherapist

Josephine has over 20 years of postgraduate clinical experience.

She has completed an MSc in Advanced Manipulative Physiotherapy and is a member of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.

Josephine has worked in public healthcare settings and private practice. Her work includes a variety of roles within professional sports including Munster Rugby, GB Ice Skating and Fulham FC. She attended the World University Games as Physiotherapist for the Irish Team and recently assisted in the preparation for the Coxless Crew; the first four women crew to row the Pacific Ocean. She has also been involved with research into violinists with shoulder pain and held clinical spinal specialist roles.

Her career to date has spanned the UK, Ireland and New Zealand; this broad range of experience has provided her with expert knowledge to provide efficient and effective management of patients in the private practice setting.

Josephine has a special interest in musculoskeletal biomechanics, post operative rehabilitation and lower limb pain. She currently runs the physiotherapy clinic for The London Podiatry Centre in charge of rehabilitation following specialist gait analysis and surgery.
